What Our Clients Say

  • This book was an awesome conversation starter with my two young boys about relatable situations that they might encounter in school and how best to handle. My 6 year old keeps asking for it back down off the shelf so he can page through and relive some of the stories. Super happy with our purchase.

  • I loved this book. It does such a great job explaining how people can feel excluded because of their race, gender, ethnicity, abilities, and/or sexual preference, and most importantly, how allies can help. Raising a new generation of allies has the potential to accelerate the elimination of racism and other forms of prejudice and discrimination. Kudos to the author for putting this book out there. School libraries, classrooms, and families should all have a copy.

  • This little book is simply a "must have" for parents, teachers, and anyone who cares about a child's "feelings". The author covers many subjects of interest to children. The illustrations are sensitive, colorful, and (what pleased me most) they do not portray children who look like Barbie or Ken dolls. They look like most children look and have facial expressions that depict their emotions. The book is just great! I've bought two....so far.

  • Thank you for such a well written book that helps start or continue conversations that we need to be having - but are sometimes hard to start. I read the other night to my 7-year-old; she loved the book and it kept her attention. I felt relief bc I know I want to have conversations about inclusion and diversity, but I don’t always know where to start. As a teacher myself, I feel this is a wonderful resource. Thank you!
